Farm Africa wants to recruit employees in the following vacant positions the details of which are mentioned below.

Position: 1: Finance and Administration Officer

  • JOB TITLE: Finance and Administration Officer- Dollo Ado
  • REPORTS TO: Project Coordinator
  • LOCATION: Dollo Ado/Somali Region
  • Education, qualifications & other knowledge:College Diploma in Accounting , BA in Accounting
  • Knowledge of employment legislation in Ethiopia
  • Three years of relevant experience in accounting/financial management in an NGO or private enterprise
  • Skills in budgeting and maintaining accounts
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel and other accounting packages
  • DURATION & HOURS: up to 31 December 2022 with 60 working days of probation period
  • Deadline: 9 June 2022.

Position 2: Community Development Facilitator (CDF)

  • JOB TITLE: Community Development Facilitator (CDF) Gololcha Woreda
  • REPORTS TO: Project Coordinator
  • LOCATION: Gololcha woreda, Oromia Region
  • DURATION: Up to December 31 2022 with a 60 work days probation period
  • Education, qualifications & other knowledge: Bsc qualification or equivalent in either of the following fields: NRM, Forestry, agricultural fields or any other relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge of PFM, climate smart agri-value chain development and integrated watershed management
  • Training on PFM and agricultural fields
  • Three years work experience in in Participatory Forest Management (PFM), NRM, landscape, watershed management and agriculture in similar organisations.
  • Experience in the area of organizational capacity building of community based institutions
  • Basic knowledge verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Deadline: 9 June 2022.

Position 3: Project Finance and Admin Officer for CRV Project of G4FII- Batu (Re-advertised)

  • JOB TITLE: Project Finance and Admin Officer (Re-advertised)- Batu
  • PROJECT: Central Rift Valley Landscape Management Project
  • REPORTS TO: Project Coordinator and functionally to Senior Project Finance Officer
  • REPORTING TO POSTHOLDER: Cashier/Accountant, Office Attendant and Driver
  • LOCATION: Ziway/Batu, Oromia region
  • DURATION & HOURS: Eight months with possibility of extension
  • Education, qualifications & other knowledge: BA or above in Accounting or related fields
  • Training on financial application systems such as SUN, Peachtree
  • At least four years relevant experience in Finance and Administration role with similar responsibilities in an NGO or private enterprise
  • Skills & abilities: Skills in budgeting and maintaining accounts
  • Computer literacy, excellent record keeping and report writing
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with accounting software
  • Deadline: 7 June  2022.
