Job Summery

Basic Functions:

The USAID Project Management Specialist provides policy, technical and administrative support to the Office Chief and Deputy Chief of USAID/Ethiopia’s Relief and Resilience (R2) Office.  S/he manages the program functions of the R2 Office and has the lead role in providing strategic, policy, and technical leadership and oversight for the office’s portfolio of food security and development projects and activities.  The incumbent will be responsible for detailed planning, budget tracking, and performance monitoring of all USAID-funded activities managed under the portfolio of R2 office

• Qualifications required: A Bachelor’s degree in economic development and/or other social sciences (for example, economics/ agricultural economics, sociology, rural development, food security).  Seven years’ work experience is required, with an emphasis on the design, implementation, and monitoring of international donor food aid programs

Salary Range: The salary range of the position is FSN-12 – $27,642 to $49,770, articulated in U.S. dollars but paid in Birr

Location of Work: USAID/US Embassy Entoto Road
