Job Title: Sales Executive

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Key Responsibilities

·     Ensuring that the company’s door-to-door sales vehicles leave the warehouse for work at the market at 12:00 every day.

·     Monitor and ensure that sales team members are on time and report to your immediate supervisor.

·     Every morning 7:00AM – 9:00AM going out to the market and monitoring the company’s door-to-door sales teams under your responsibility;

·     control, assist as well as review and evaluate (weekly visit plan and inform the immediate supervisor in advance.

·     Prepare a report of the market situation visited at 10:00 in the afternoon and submit it to your supervisor and receive instructions on the conditions encountered during the work day; ensure that the product is properly loaded for the next day’s sale

·     Attend the weekly sales meeting every Saturday at 10:00 and discuss the weekly work performance and set the direction for the next week’s sales;

·     Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors;

·     Facilitate customer orders & payment collections by answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products;

·     Develop effective sales strategies, both individually and as part of a sales team;

·     Organizes sales visits, demonstrates and presents products, establishes new business relationships and maintains accurate records;

·     Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information;

·     Maintain positive business-customer relationships in the effort to ensure customers’ satisfaction;

·     Thoroughly track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc.;

·     Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs;

·     Perform any other task assigned by the sales and marketing manager;


Job Requirements

Additional Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English both writing and speaking 

• Excellent communication skill

• Able to work under pressure 

• Ability to influence and negotiate with others


Qualifications: BA Degree in Marketing Management


Experience: Minimum three years of experience, of which one year as a sales supervisor. Experience in the FMCG sector is mandatory.
