Manager, Strategy Implementation and Monitoring Team at Cooperative Bank of Oromia

- Responsibilities:
- Undertake Business/Functional Strategy formulation and review through an in-depth Strategic and Situational Analysis of external and internal operating environment.
- Participate in development of strategic initiatives through operational and strategy review sessions and identify major activities, timelines and targets.
- Facilitate strategic communication plan to all Head office and Branch staff to ensure deep understanding of Business Strategy across all employees for effective alignment to the Bank’s Mission, Values, Vision and Strategic Objectives.
- Provide input in the development of a strategy monitoring and evaluation plan outlining what data will be collected, how it will be collected and who will collect it.
- Implement effective and objective Strategy monitoring and evaluation framework by providing hands-on support to problem and solution development and help manage key stakeholders and break through organizational barriers.
- Ensure the activities are kept within the parameters of the agreed strategic aims and objectives.
- Coordinate the collection of strategic performance data for the identified performance indicators.
- Coordinate analysis of performance data to evaluate the extent of achievement of the set strategic objectives.
- Coordinate the application of IFB strategic analysis data to inform management decisions, adjust strategy, or fine-tune implementation.
- Continuously review the unit’s processes to ensure efficiency; reduce wastage of resources and drive productivity by improving systems and work processes.
- Influence and drive the unit’s change initiatives in support of business strategies.
- Ensure adherence to the defined culture by demonstration of appropriate behavior required to meet unit’s demands and performance expectations.
- Prepares reports monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually as well as on ad-hoc basis as need be
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

- Job Requirements:
- Education: MA or BA degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, and other Business-related fields
- Experience: minimum of Seven Years relevant Banking experience.
- Language: Proven proficiency of Listening, Speaking and Writing Amharic and English are Mandatory and having knowledge of other local language is advantageous.
- Remuneration: As per the Bank’s salary scale and benefit scheme
- Terms of employment: Permanent after probationary period
