NTE manufactures, distributes and sells Nyala, the leading domestic tobacco brand in the country. The company provides direct employment to over 1,200 Ethiopians and indirect employment to over 10,300 tobacco out-growers.National Tobacco Enterprise

In addition to its factory in Addis Ababa, NTE owns and manages five tobacco farms – Robi, Billate, Hawassa, Wolayta and East Shoa.

NTE is a Member of the Japan Tobacco International Group of Companies (JTI) – a leading international tobacco products company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. JTI owns 71% of the shares of NTE acquired from the Government of Ethiopia in 2016/2017 for USD 1 billion. This is the largest private sector investment by a Japanese company in Ethiopia to date.

Position: Trade Marketing Representative (TMR)

Education: University degree or equivalent in marketing, economics or business management related specialization, Proficient English language skill and MS Office confident user.

Work Experience: Not necessary. However, working experience in an FMCG environment is an added advantage.

The incumbent is responsible to understand and validate his territory then develop and improve his route plan in order to cover the best outlets in the most efficient way possible, guarantee the realization of set Trade Marketing Programs across the entire target visited retail universe with the objectives of developing the share of market of NTE brands and reinforcing the positioning of NTE brands.

Furthermore, Support NTE wholesalers by conducting top up sales in line with the company policy to grow volume and expand distribution coverage. The incumbent is required to be mobile and flexible to move and work in any location within the country.

NB: The position is outside Addis Ababa.
