The Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Association (CCRDA) is a national nonprofit umbrella Association of over 450 secular and faith based NGOs/CSOs operating in Ethiopia.
CCRDA is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our organization as Business Development Team Director. The incumbent is responsible for driving business growth within the organization & to develop a network of contacts to attract clients, research business opportunities or expand existing and oversee growth projects, making projections and forecasting revenue, in line with the Association Strategic Plan (2021-2025).
Duties & Responsibilities of Business Development Team Director
Plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy.
Develop a marketing plan and executing it as per the approval.
Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop viable business portfolios.
Research and identify business opportunities – including growth areas, trends, partnerships, and services – or new ways of reaching the existing and potential markets.
Mapping stakeholder, profiling key potential public, private, CSO clients.
Devising ways to nurture business relationships reward & retention planning schemes.
Attend various events and conferences related to his/her duty.
Build strong relationships with professionals, vendors and Associations, institutions in order to build the marketing network.
To write business proposals, draft and review contracts and manage when they realized.
Maintaining the Association’s reputation in every marketing experiences, deals, competitions and collaborations.
Measuring the department operations as per the Association’s timeline and on the requirement that may arise from contractual terms.
Working with other teams to get the best out of them that could support the business development goals.
Planning purposeful visits to other institutions, sectors in order to enhance equitable learning
Producing reports for immediate supervisor.
MSc or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering background or related field.
10 years of Experience in Business Management, Marketing or related field or preferably with engineering background.

IT skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point & spreadsheets.
