Joining our team of experts as a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert, you will be playing a crucial role in overseeing and leading the monitoring and evaluation activities of the organization and its various projects. The M&E Expert will provide technical guidance and support to the various departments, staff and partners in the various MEL activities. The M&E Expert will develop and implement M&E strategies, tools, and systems to measure the effectiveness and impact of the organization’s various programs and projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, plans, and systems to track the progress and impact of programs and projects
Develop and implement data collection, analysis, and reporting tools and processes to ensure timely & accurate data collection, management, and analysis
Lead the design and implementation of research and evaluation studies to measure the impact of programs and projects
Provide technical guidance and support to the M&E team, program staff, and partners to ensure quality and timely data collection, analysis, and reporting
Ensure that M&E activities comply with the organization’s policies, procedures, and donor requirements
Manage and oversee the M&E team, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members to ensure their professional growth and development
Produce regular reports and briefings on the progress and impact of programs and projects to the organization’s leadership and donors
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and donors to share knowledge and best practices in M&E.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

A minimum of a master’s Degree in the relevant field of study (Development Policy, Management, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field)
At least 8 – 10 years of relevant progressively advancing professional experience in monitoring and evaluation of multi-year and nation-wide projects at national and international organizations;
Proven experience in developing and implementing M&E frameworks, plans, and systems
Solid technical knowledge and practical experience of the application of RBM and development effectiveness principles and value-for-money approaches;
Track record of successfully working with government and development partners on development agendas;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and development partners;
Strong analytical skills and experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis with a demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and implement change;
Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative and judgment;
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
Ability to travel to project sites and meetings, as needed;
Computer literacy – MS Office applications, web-based management information systems.
